It’s very helpful for appraising your car’s value to get your car’s year, make and model.
The car’s make is the Company that made it(such as Ford, Volkswagen, Honda, etc.)
The car’s model is the product name (e.g. Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Ford Focus, Ford Explorer, etc.
You can find your car’s year, make, and model by looking at the Owner’s manual or getting the car’s VIN Number.
The VIN Number (Vehicle Identification Number) is a 17 digit & character number that can be found:
- On the windshield sticker on the glass near where the driver sits.
- On your Insurance card/Insurance policy
- On your Vehicle title and registration
You can put your VIN Number into the box at the VIN Decoder website
and it should tell you your car’s year, make and model!
